Fed holds in July — 91% (+28.0)

Polymarket · $3.2M traded

The July FOMC meeting just got boring. The no-change contract ripped roughly 28 points, while the 25bp hike leg cratered to 9.4% (−27.1) and the 50bp+ hike sits at 0.4%. Translation: whatever the market was pricing in for hawkish surprise on July 28 evaporated overnight.

Fed hikes at all in 2026 — 52% (−21.0)

Polymarket · $211K traded

The full-year hike question collapsed in sympathy. A coin flip on any 2026 hike now, off 21 points in a session. The July repricing is bleeding into the back half of the year — if the Fed isn’t moving in two weeks, the market is no longer convinced it moves at all before December.

France vs. Spain: France to advance — 57% (−2.8)

Polymarket · $10.4M traded

The single biggest book of the day, and the smart money is nibbling on Spain. France’s advance leg leaked (−2.8) and their 90-minute win price sits at 37.8% (−3.5), while Spain’s World Cup outright ticked up to 22.7% (+1.7). Kickoff is 3:00pm ET; the market is still calling this a coin flip with a French tilt.

Iranian regime falls before 2027 — 11% (+2.0)

Polymarket · $224K traded

A quiet but real bid under regime-change risk. The chance Tehran’s government doesn’t make it to 2027 nudged up to 11%, while the separate US-invades-Iran market holds at 19%. Small in absolute terms, but the direction matters.

WTA: Monnet over Masarova — 77% (+59.0)

Kalshi · ~500K contracts on each leg

A full inversion in one session. Masarova opened the favorite and now trades 23% (−63.0) on Kalshi; Monnet is the new chalk at 77%. Volume on both legs cleared 490K contracts. When a match line flips 60 points, the tape is telling you something the pre-match number didn’t.

04 Futures

The F1 title market has a math problem

Four drivers priced under 3%. Someone is going to win this thing.

The 2026 Drivers’ Championship resolves Sat Dec 5 — 144 days out. Polymarket’s four traded contenders: Verstappen 2% (+0.7), Norris 1.9% (+1.2), Leclerc 2% (+0.1), Piastri 1% (−1.1). Combined: 6.9%. Volume is real — Piastri alone cleared $2.7M in 24h, Norris $2.2M, Verstappen $1.3M, Leclerc $402K. Liquidity sits between $218K and $432K per name.

One of these four either wins the title or someone not in this event does. The four names above sum to just 6.9%, meaning the book is implying a ~93% chance the champion is nobody currently traded here. That is possible only if the true title market lives in a different event with names not surfaced in the digest — in which case these contracts are stale quotes on thin liquidity, not real odds. The steelman: this is a market-maker’s residual, not a fair line, and the mispricing evaporates the moment a fifth name shows up above 50% and pulls the sum honest. Watch the next race weekend for a liquidity event that forces a repricing.

Bottom line: YES on Norris for the title at 1.9% — 144 days, and the cheapest ticket in a four-way race where the digest’s sum doesn’t add up.
05 The Slip

The ticket: today’s picks, a side and a price each. All markets open at send.

France vs. Spain: Both Teams to Score · NO @ 39% · PM

BTTS at 61% feels rich into a 3:00pm ET semifinal where the market only gives France a 37.8% outright win; one clean sheet or a cagey 1-0 cashes.

Fed: no change after July meeting · YES @ 91% · PM

The 25bp hike leg collapsed to 9.4% and a cut prices 0.6% — the residual is a hold, and 91% still leaves room.

US invades Iran before 2027 · NO @ 81% · PM

19% YES prices a five-month path to US military action; fade the tail.

06 Whale Watch
Whale DEEDDIT $683K France vs. Spain markets NO France @ 60–62% + Spain-advance @ 40–42% Stacked five clips across two books — fading France to win, backing Spain to advance. Same trade, twice.
Whale pako $355K Fed July 2026 decision YES no-change @ 93% + NO cut @ 99.5% Paid up for the 91% consensus and dumped the 25bp-cut tail. Ticket size on a two-week resolution.
Flow France vs. Spain: Team to Advance $10.4M vol24 Polymarket · today 3:00pm ET Spain-side clips (highnetworth, Sparkling8899, DEEDDIT x2) crowded the 40–43% range as the advance line drifted from 60% toward 57%.
Stack KXMENWORLDCUP-26-FR · France to win it all 40.0M OI · 2.1M vol24 Kalshi · 38% (−1.5) Open interest dwarfs daily turnover 19-to-1 — the book is holding, not churning, into the Spain semi.

Multiple accounts bought NO on France to win today between 59.5%–62% — the fade is crowded.

07 The Longshot

The market thinks LeBron is a coin flip to wear wine and gold

A market resolving in 108 days prices LeBron James back in Cleveland at 45.7% — up (+2.1) on $154K of volume against $62K of liquidity.

Polymarket has LeBron James playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2026-27 at 45.7% (+2.1), which is either the tape whispering something or a book too thin to argue with. The market has done $154K in 24h volume against just $62K of liquidity — a 2.5x churn ratio that means every dollar of resting depth got flipped more than twice in a day. That is not a market discovering price; that is a market being pushed.

The contract resolves Oct 30 — 108 days out — and the implied read is stark: the tape is putting the storyline within a rounding error of a coin flip. Whether that is signal from someone who knows something, or two accounts trading a headline back and forth in a puddle, the liquidity says be careful either way. A $10K ticket would move this price several points. Screenshot it now; the number probably will not survive contact with the next real order. ↗
