Privacy policy
Yes/No Daily (“we”) publishes yesnodaily.com and the Yes/No Daily email newsletter. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It is written to be read.
What we collect
Your email address, when you subscribe. That is the only personal information we ask for. Along with it we record when and where on the site you signed up, and the campaign or referral parameters in the address you arrived from (for example, which advertisement or post brought you here), so we know which channels work.
Email activity. Our email provider records whether an issue was delivered, opened, or clicked, and which links were clicked. This is standard for newsletters and is used to improve the brief and to remove addresses that never open it.
Website analytics. We use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to count page views and referrers. We may also use the Meta Pixel and similar advertising tools to measure whether an advertisement led to a subscription. These tools may set cookies or use identifiers in your browser; see “Advertising and cookies” below.
Server logs. Like every website, our hosting provider logs requests (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability. These logs are retained briefly and not used to profile readers.
We do not collect payment information: the newsletter is free. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16, and the site is not directed at them.
How we use it
To send you the newsletter you asked for and the welcome note that comes with it; to understand which issues and pages readers find useful; to measure the results of our own marketing; to keep the site secure; and to comply with the law. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your email address with advertisers or sponsors.
Who processes it
Our newsletter is sent through beehiiv, which stores subscriber lists and email activity on our behalf. The site is hosted on Vercel, which provides the aggregate analytics. Advertising measurement, when enabled, uses Meta (Facebook and Instagram) tools. Each of these providers processes data under its own privacy policy and our instructions. Prices and market data on the site come from the public APIs of Kalshi and Polymarket; no reader data is sent to either venue.
Advertising and cookies
The site sets a small number of first-party values in your browser: whether you have already subscribed (so we stop asking), and the campaign parameters from the page you arrived on for the length of your visit. Advertising pixels, when present, may set third-party cookies to attribute a subscription to an advertisement and to build audiences on the advertising platform. You can opt out of interest-based advertising through your browser settings, through the platform’s ad preferences, or through industry tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance’s opt-out page. Blocking these cookies does not affect your subscription.
Your choices
Unsubscribe at any time with the link at the bottom of every email. Access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by writing to hello@yesnodaily.com; we will respond within 30 days. Residents of California, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and other jurisdictions with privacy laws have additional rights under those laws, including the right to know what we collect, to request deletion, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights; write to the same address to exercise them. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act.
Retention and security
We keep your email address for as long as you are subscribed, and remove it from active lists when you unsubscribe; our provider may retain a suppression record so we do not email you again. We use reputable providers with industry-standard security, but no transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee it.
Changes and contact
When this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, say so in the newsletter. Questions go to hello@yesnodaily.com or by post to Yes/No Daily, 1065 SW 8th St #2079, Miami, FL 33130, United States. See also the terms of use.
